AVRPD Commission

The Allegheny Valley Regional Police Department is under the direction and control of the Allegheny Valley Regional Police Commission, which is responsible for the operations, management, and administration of AVRPD. The Commission consists of civilian representatives from Cheswick, Springdale, and East Deer, who are appointed by the governing bodies of each community.

The AVRPD Commission meets on the Second Tuesday of every month at 4:30 PM at the Cheswick Borough Municipal Building, located at 220 S. Atlantic Ave. Cheswick, PA 15024. Meetings are open to the public.

Special meetings of the AVRPD Commission may be held at various times throughout the year. Such meetings are to be held in compliance with applicable Sunshine Laws.
